"Faith Fridays" (biweekly)Join us every other Friday for engaging, Scripture-based video and book studies that deepen faith, build community, and apply God's Word to everyday life. **No homework!** ** Fall Semester 2026: Walk and talk with Jesus like he's here ... because -- he is! Encounter Jesus in a fresh way as you take him at his word more actively and specifically. Adopt simple patterns to experience a deeper friendship with Jesus. Discover how he is in front of you, leading you by His Spirit. He calls you to follow him as soon as he speaks -- and to trust him in every area of your life. Let's "practice his presence" together! We meet every 2 weeks (alternate Fridays).
"Tame Your Thoughts!" Based on the book by Max LucadoStuck in your head? Hounded by regrets? Weighed down by worry? Change is possible! The thoughts that have characterized your past need not characterize the rest of your life. You will learn to: (1) Take thoughts captive, (2) Test each message against the truth of Scripture, (3) Interrupt poisonous thought threads, (4) Think and act like Jesus. Join us on this journey to MANAGE our lives by BETTER managing our thoughts. Not only does neuroscience back this concept, but the idea is also embedded throughout Scripture. "Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind" (Rom.12:2). Tame your thoughts and transform your life! Women only. Based on the book by Max Lucado. Meets EVERY 2 WEEKS (only).
(Friday) Centralized Small groupLooking for a place to build connections, grow spiritually, and share life together? Join our 13-week small group as we meet every Friday night at the church office. Beauty, Confidence & God‘s wordBeauty Ministry is a women’s Bible study dedicated to exploring God’s majesty, His ways, and the unique beauty He has created in each of us. Centered on the Hebrew word “yofi” (יֹפִי), which means beauty, goodness, and excellence, we dive into Scripture to discover how God’s design reveals His glory. Together, we learn to find our identity in Christ, embrace our God-given worth, and cultivate confidence that reflects His love. Join us as we grow in faith, understanding, and the true beauty that comes from walking in His ways.

Bible Based YogaWe are forming a group of active adults who are interested in deepening their spirituality through yoga. I will lead a +/- 30 minute yoga experience and after we will discuss a Bible passage and reflect. Bring your mat and journal and join us! Note, we will set up outdoor on the lawn.
Bible Book ClubDo you ever watch a movie or read something and ask yourself if this is the way people “really” are or the way life really is or even if God is the way they say He is (in that book or movie)? Do you ever want to see for yourself without anyone having to tell you these things? That’s our goal in our small group Bible study. We’re going through the Old Testament, which can seem like a lot of material, but we’re taking just one chapter each day. That will add up to seven chapters each week. The Old Testament shows us what people are “really” like. We get to see where life actually came from and where the cultures of the world are heading. That understanding alone can help you in the problems that you face. God has some amazing promises throughout the Old Testament. You can take those and claim them when life gets rough. You won’t know about them unless you read it for yourself. So we’ll talk about that in our time together. There is hope. You can filter misinformation from the culture. God does have a plan for your life. That’s why it’s so important to go back into the Old Testament. (This is an on-going small group that continues each semester. We started two years ago in Genesis and are currently in Psalms.)

Bilingual Message Discussion GroupWe discuss the Saddleback message every other Thursday from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.(Pacific time-PT) Whether you're an English speaker or a Mandarin speaker, or if you can speak both languages, all are welcome.  The idea started to help Chinese immigrants know Jesus while helping them improve their Language skills, but after searching ChatGPT, We found there are so many benefits: 🌍 Spiritual & Cultural Benefits 1. Deeper understanding of the message — Hearing and discussing the same sermon in two languages helps members understand the meaning more fully, sometimes catching nuances they might miss in one language. 2. Unity in diversity — It brings together believers from different cultural and language backgrounds, helping the church feel like one body even when members speak other languages. 3. Sharing perspectives — People from different cultures may notice different insights or applications from the same message, enriching everyone’s faith. 🗣 Language & Communication Benefits 1. Improved language skills — Members can practice a second language in a natural, meaningful way while discussing spiritual topics. 2. Better cross-cultural communication — It helps members learn to listen, understand, and respect each other across language barriers — valuable not just in church, but in life. 3. Confidence in sharing faith — Practicing bilingual discussion builds confidence to share the Gospel with people in both languages. 🤝 Community & Relationship Benefits 1. Closer fellowship — Small-group discussions build relationships; bilingual ones connect people who otherwise might never talk to each other. 2. Mentorship opportunities — Stronger bilingual believers can help newer ones grow both spiritually and linguistically. 3. Inclusion — No one feels left out because of language — it shows that every member is valued equally. 🏗 Practical Church Benefits 1. Support for bilingual ministries — Helps prepare members to serve as translators, worship leaders, or group leaders in a multilingual church setting. 2. Outreach-ready — A bilingual group can welcome newcomers, visitors, or seekers from either language background, making evangelism easier. 3. Strengthens church unity — Instead of having separate groups that rarely interact, this model helps the whole church feel like one family.  Suggestion: You may install WhatsApp on your computer for English-only and Mandarin-only speakers. It will be easier for you to attend the meeting and use the speech-to-text app.  WhatsApp Laptop installation link: https://www.whatsapp.com/download  Google speech-to-text link: https://translate.google.ca/?sl=en&tl=zh-CN&op=translate (or you prefer other speech-to-text apps)

Breaking Bread & BelongingJoin women in the middle of it all as we gather around the table for food, friendship, faith, and meaningful conversation. Together we’ll reflect on Sunday’s message, encourage one another, and build authentic community where everyone belongs.
Brewing Faith & Friendship This is a new group for single women in their 30s and 40s who desire authentic friendships, meaningful conversations, and deeper faith. Our heart is to build a supportive community where we can share life honestly, encourage one another, gain new perspectives, and grow in our understanding of who God says we are. **✨ New members are still welcome!** We intentionally decided to use our summer semester as a time to build friendships and get to know one another before beginning our curriculum. With vacations, travel, and changing summer schedules, we've been enjoying casual coffee meetups, meaningful conversations, and fun outings together. **We have not started our Bible study yet**, so this is a wonderful time to join us! We'd love to welcome new ladies into the group before we begin our study together this fall. Together, we will go through "Daughter of the King: A Bible Study for Women on Identity, Worth, and Confidence in Christ" by Georgi Rosk. Over eight sessions, we'll explore our identity in Christ and what it means to live confidently and securely as women deeply loved by God. Throughout the semester, we'll also enjoy fun outings and activities together, such as visiting local coffee shops, exploring Orange County, serving our community, and simply spending time building genuine friendships. During one of our weekly meetings, we will serve together at the Lake Forest campus in the PEACE Community Resource Center. We want to serve others and live out our faith in action. We'll typically meet at local coffee shops around South Orange County (usually Lake Forest/Irvine area). If you're looking for authentic friendships, spiritual growth, and a place where you can belong, we'd love to have you join us. Let's discuss and learn from each other's experiences about how to enter the narrow gate by embracing Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life, trusting in His sacrifice for salvation, and living a life that reflects His teachings through ongoing faith, repentance, and perseverance despite challenges or persecution. Entering the narrow gate implies an active, intentional decision to live a life aligned with God's kingdom values—love, humility, righteousness, and faith. Frisbee Summer FunHi All, I'm excited to create a group for the iconic California activity from generations gone by...the Frisbee!! If you are looking for a fun, casual outdoor activity where we can enjoy the simple joy of throwing the frisbee around, then this is for you!! Open to all ages, day of the week is flexible, but typically looking for weekday or weekend morning to early noon. You can be a seasoned frisbee guy like me or a beginner, I can teach too!! Location will be determined based on the groups proximity, but a local park with open grass and shade would be ideal. We can fellowship afterwards under the shade or go out for cold beverages, I'm open to your suggestions. ***As of now, I just put EL CAMINO REAL PARK as location and SATURDAY as the day of the week, but as I mentioned, its all FLEXIBLE!!!!***

Walking by FaithLife feels lighter when we walk it together…literally! Walking by Faith is a women’s walking group that meets weekly on the beautiful Oso Creek Trail in Mission Viejo (Marguerite & Estanciero Trailhead). This isn’t about speed or distance…it’s about fellowship and connection. Whether you’re a fast walker or prefer a slower pace, you’re welcome here. No one gets left behind, and the only requirements are comfy shoes and a willingness to laugh, chat, and enjoy the time together. Think of it as exercise for both your legs and your heart. No training plan required and no pressure to look “put together.” Just come as you are…messy bun, mismatched socks, or whatever works. We’re here to connect, not compare. Jesus often invited people to walk with Him, and His disciples found life-changing fellowship along the way. In the same way, we’ll take simple steps together…sharing stories, laughter, and faith as we walk side by side. Each week you can expect around a 60-minute walk breathing in fresh air, building friendships, encouraging one another, and enjoying authentic conversation. Come, lace up, show up, and take a step toward genuine connection…you just might leave with lighter steps and a fuller heart.
